Gunlock Reservoir has some great Largemouth Bass fishing, but make sure to educate yourself about the fish consumption advisory for bass on this water.

Current Conditions

Day-Use: Self pay when no attendant on duty.
Surface: Open
Launch Ramp: For the month of March. Saturday – Sunday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. Closed Monday – Thursday
Campground: Open. Campsites have been widened and improved. Self pay envelope system using cash or checks only at the entrance if attendant not on duty. Please dispose of trash. There is no water, sewer or electric in the park.
Day Use Beach: We have made several improvements to the park including more parking and sand on the day use beach.
Water Temp: 42 Degrees 3/07/2019
Water Level: Water levels are full and the falls are running!! The falls are located within a fee area and you must pay the day use fee to access.
Fishing Conditions:
Fish were transferred to Gunlock from Sand Hollow in late April 2016. DWR reports fishing is fair.
Fire Conditions: Fires are allowed in designated fire rings only. NO FIREWORKS, that includes sparklers, fire crackers and fireworks. NO FIREWORKS!!
