Gunlock Reservoir has some great Largemouth Bass fishing, but make sure to educate yourself about the fish consumption advisory for bass on this water.

Current Conditions

Day-Use:   Self pay when no attendant on duty.  
Surface: Open
Launch Ramp: Closed until March 2017
Campground: Open.   Self pay envelope system using cash or checks only at the entrance. Please dispose of trash.
Water Temp: 48 Degrees 2/13/2017
Water Level: Water levels are coming up a lot with the latest rains.  There are no water falls.
Fishing Conditions:
 Fish were transferred to Gunlock from Sand Hollow in late April 2016.  There is no report on the fishing yet, but there are now fish in Gunlock.
Fire Conditions:  Fires are allowed in existing fire rings only. NO FIREWORKS, that includes sparklers, fire crackers and fireworks.  NO FIREWORKS!!
Other information:
The boat ramp is now closed until March 2017.  There is no attendant on duty.  Self pay with envelopes for day use and camping.
The water level is slowly rising.  We hope that there will be good spring run off to raise the levels for a great summer.
