Gunlock Reservoir has some great Largemouth Bass fishing, but make sure to educate yourself about the fish consumption advisory for bass on this water.

Current Conditions

Day-Use:   Self pay when no attendant on duty.  
Surface: Open
Launch Ramp: OCTOBER- JANUARY Saturday- 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM ONLY.
Campground: Open.   Self pay envelope system using cash or checks only at the entrance if attendant not on duty. Please dispose of trash.
Water Temp: 56 Degrees 12/09/2017
Water Level: Water levels are holding at an unusual high.  Be careful of floating debris.
Fishing Conditions:
 Fish were transferred to Gunlock from Sand Hollow in late April 2016.  There is no report on the fishing yet, but there are now fish in Gunlock.
Fire Conditions:   NO FIREWORKS, that includes sparklers, fire crackers and fireworks.  NO FIREWORKS!! Fires are allowed in campground fire rings only and NOT on the beach.
Other information: Water fowl hunting is allowed in the park away from the campground and facilities.
